Marcus Freeman

Marcus Freeman was born and brought up in Cambridge. He moved to London to study Graphic Design at the former Hornsey School of Art, now part of Middlesex University, from 1993 to 1996. After which he pursued a career as a commercial designer and fine artist, chiefly producing elegant abstracted urban landscapes and studies of unassuming commercial buildings that explore the contradiction between clarity and atmosphere and our changing attitudes to hope and industrial progress.

The artworks shown on this website are painted in acrylic on canvas and are mostly available for site-specific commission. To a degree they can painted to-size and are especially well suited to planned installation in modern interiors.
